Mr. Hampton: Apply for adjournment of 1 further day. Reason is to

complete certain inquiries set on foot on Friday

consequent on examination of files produced by

Mr. Donnelly. Mr. Gunston supports application.

Ir. Sceats: I can't take any objection.

25th November 1975

Coran: A. Garcia, D.J. in Court.

Court resumes at 10 a.m.

Appearances as before.

Mr. Hampton: Apply for a further day's adjournment until tomorrow.

Reason for the adjournment is same as that of yesterday. Circumstances are that throughout yesterday using the utmost diligence inquiry which both Defence solicitors were pursuing jointly came to nothing until about 6.15 p.m. when the required information which would permit inquiry to be meaningful came to light. Can assure Court whether or not these inquiries prove fruitful - both Mr. Gunston and I believe them to be of the utmost importance and in the interests of justice. No further application for adjournment will be made on this matter.

Hr. Gunston: That is entirely correct. I also mentioned that through

absolutely no fault of ours this information did not

come earlier. It was asked for and did not surface until 6 p.m. yesterday.

Fr. Sceats: In some difficulty would not want to adjourn. Will

leave it to Your Honour.
