I am an attendant working in a sauna bath house. I have been working for 4 months in this job. (Document shown to witness.) This is an application for bank account. This is my signature on the document. (Exh. PP82). Na Halt Shing told me to open the bank account in North Point. I first came to know Ma Hak Shing in about 1971. When I first met him he was a Detective Staff Sergeant. In 1971 he was stationed in Kowloon City. I met Ma Hak Shing through the introduction of my friend. I cannot remember his name. We wanted Ma Hak Shing to introduce us to set up an off course betting stall in North Point together with my friend.
I saw
Ma Hak Shing 2 times. On one occasion I went with my friend, on second occasion I went alone. I saw Ma Hak Shing at the Hing Sheung Fung Restaurant. I did not set up an off course betting stall in North Point. I saw Ma Hak Shing again in 1973. I approached Ma Hak Shing again and told him my intention of setting up a stall in Causeway Bay. On that occasion he was stationed at Causeway Bay. In 1973 I cannot
remember when I met a Hak Shing to discuss this matter.
