1. The last item on the 8 o'clock am news on Radio 4 on BBC today concerned corruption in Hong Kong. It was as follows:

"A Commission investigating corruption says it wants to see 49 former officials, most of them policemen, half of them are in Taiwan and half of them are in north and south America".
This perhaps confirms your view that adverse publicity against corrupt police in Hong Kong is continuing and that therefore we should delay the grant of a new coat of arms.
