Thank you for your letter HKK 380/1 of 3rd February which crossed with my ICAC 520/2/1 of 7th February.
I was very interested in the confidential report by the Department of Trade representative at the first ad hoc meeting of the Working Group and was particularly delighted by the firm unequivocable position taken by the USA delegation.
I shall be very grateful if you will he kind enough to send me a copy of the UK statement which was made at the first meeting and also any reports you have received of the second meeting which will end tomorrow.
