1. John Hobley was in the Office today for an exchange of views. In the course of our conversation he mentioned that he had written a strong letter to the CMA on the subject of the prevention of bribery. We agreed that it would be halpful to us in answering MPs' letters etc if we had both a copy of the letter from the CMA and John's reply thereto. The interchange took place, according to John, around December last year.
