to Lord Goronwy-Roberts on 20 April enclosing a letter dated 24 March from Mrs Elsie Elliott. The letter from Mrs Elliott is a duplicate of the one she has sent to Mr Stan Newens MP (my separate submission of today's date refers).

The department have sought information from Hong Kong about the case of Iqbal Hussain Khan. Meanwhile I recommend that the Minister send an interim reply to Mr Johnson and I submit a draft.
