SUMMARY OFFENCES ORDINANCE (EXEMPTION FROM SECTION 13)
ORDER 1977
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 (4)
of the Summary Offences Ordinance, the Governor in Council
has made the following order

Exemption from section
1.
This order may be cited as the Summary Offences
Ordinance (Exemption from Section 13) Order 1977.
212. (1) Subject to paragraph (2) section 13 of the
Ordinance shall not apply to any building or construction (Cap. 228.) works within the area specified in the Schedule between Schedule.

(2) The exemption granted in paragraph (1) is
granted subject to the conditions
(a)
(other than caisson works for foundation
Chan purposes
that no ping works shall be carried out
within any such area between the hours of
8.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. or on any public
holiday;
(b) that the Director of Public Works may order

work to be stopped or order such reasonable
measures as from time to time he may deem
appropriate or necessary if he considers
that the noise emanating from that area
