This Ordinance increases the penalty for touting in the case of second and subsequent offences under section 6A of the Summary Offences Ordinance to a fine of $2,000 and imprisonment for 6 months. A person convicted of a first offence will continue to be liable to a fine of $1,000.
2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, I advised that he could properly do so.
