(c) that no piling works of any sort shall be
carried out within such areas between the

hours of 8.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. or on
any public holiday;
(a) that blasting is prohibited outside the
confines of the tunnel between the hours
of 11.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m.; and
(e) that the Director of Public Works may order
work to be stopped if he considers that the
noise created by the works is causing
unnecessary disturbance and annoyance to
the public:
Provided that such conditions shall not apply in
any case of emergency work necessary to save life or
property or for the safety of the works.
