Village Removal Standards
Part I
Present Standards
1.
Building Land
(a) Old Scheduled Lots and Pre-war New Grants
held by a villager or an outsider who acquired the land pre-war (1.1.41) or the successor by inheritance of such an outsider or villager
(i) One resite house for 0.01 acre.
(ii) In some cases houses exist mainly
on larger, older lots at a greater density than 1/0.01 acre. The houses are usually occupied by separate households. Resite houses have been granted on a house for house basis in such cases.
(iii) The Block Crown Lease also included
latrine lots as building land and in some cases houses have been erected on such lots. Resite houses.have been provided for such houses where they are domestically occupied by the owner,
(b) Old Scheduled Lots and Pre-war New Grants
held by persons other than those in paragraph 1(a) above
(i)
Cash compensation or a land exchange
entitlement,
(c) Fast-war New Grants held by villagers
(1) One resite house for each new grant
lot provided the building covenant has been fulfilled plus cash compen- sation or a land exchange entitlement for any land, in excess of 700 square feet.
