BANK BUILDING, CASTLE PEAK ROAD, TSUEN WAN,

Mr. TONG Kow,

Consolidated Salvage &

Engineering Co.,

94, Nathan Road Block A2, 5/F.,

Kowloon.

Dear Sir,

Lot Nos. 607 and 608 in D.D. 436

Please refer to my letter of the 18th November 1968 and to your reply of 29th November, 1968. In view of the fact that your company is not prepared to pay up the outstanding instalments, I regret that I cannot recommend that Government accepts a free surrender of the above-mentioned lots. In the se circumstances, unless the payment of the out- standing instalmentsand appropriate interest is made immediately, I shall have no alternative but to proceed with re-entry action.

However, should Government re-enter the se lots, it may be possible for your company to continue to occupy the land on an Annual Tenancy basis, subject to the terms and conditions contained in the draft Tenancy Agreement attached hereto. You will note that the rental in this case would amount to $10,584.- per annum and that this rent may be payable by two, equal half-yearly payments in advance. The Agreement would commence from the day on which the above-mentioned lots were re-entered by the Crown.

I should now be grateful if you would inform the undersigned as soon as possible whether or not you would be prepared to accept an Annual Tenancy on the se terms and conditions.

Encl.
