of working orders of ships repairing/building from the Harbour office

and Public Works Department and intend to develope the said premises

to cope with his requirement for completion of the aforesaid working

orders.

Your Petitioner regrets the non-payment but is now ready,

able and willing to pay up all the outstanding instalments of the

premium.

Your Petitioner also understand that the said premises have

not yet been designated for any civil or municipal development

purposes, nor have any plans been made for their use.

Your Petitioner wishes to emphasize to Your Excellency that

the non-payment of instalments of premium was unintentional and

involuntary.

That Your Petitioner humbly suggests that the equitable

principles relating to relief against forfeiture for non-payment of

rent are applicable to the present case and suggest that it will be

equitable for Your Excellency to grant this his humble Petition.

If Your Excellency should allow Your Petitioner relief

against forfeiture, it would assist the ship-building industry of

the Colony.

In view of the matters aforesaid, Your Petitioner humbly

prays that the memorial Re-Entry No.82696 be cancelled upon such

terms as to costs, expenses, damages, compensation, penalty or

otherwise as Your Excellency shall in your discretion think fit.

Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays that immediate

steps be taken to cancell the memorial of Re-Entry as aforesaid

so that Your Petitioner may take immediate steps to repossess the

premises and to develop the same.
