Your letter of 22 September to Derek Milton asked for help in tracing some photographs and a dispatch of 1926 vintage for
the archivist in Hong Kong.
Our Library and Records Department suggest that it would be best for someone from your office to call at the Public Records Cffice in person, with a duly completed application form for a Reader's Ticket, a copy of which I attach. Apparently the Public Records Office should have no difficulty in tracing the documents in question if all the information in Diamond's letter is given. The Library and Records Department also recommend that the caller should carry a letter from the Hong Kong Government Office stating why he or she requires access to the documents.
