Taking this opportunity I humbly request you to reverse your decision and 'instruct the British Consul here to issue my visa to Hong Kong.In case on the basis of your pouvoir, you find impossible to fulfill my request, please, do inform me of the reason my visa application has been rejected for and the ways and means I could attain the reversal of or could appeal against your de- cision.by.

I want to emphasize once again that I should like to go to Hong Kong on a tourist trip, I do not want to engage myself in any form of subversive activity against your office or any government in that region. I have enough money to support my vacation in Hong Kong.

In hope of an early reply from you, and that it will be a positive one, I remain, Sir,

your opedient servant
