Dear Sir,
3rd September, 1977
Your letter of 27th August refers. We feel much disappointed at the reply, nontheless we still wish to extend our gratitude to you for the trouble you have taken in dealing with our request. We now hope to come to Hong Kong on transit to other countries. Furthermore, two other relatives have also promised to help us. Therefore we are writing to you again in the hope that you will give us assistance whereby our family may see each other again. We will never forget you if you are kind enough'. to grant us entry. We will return your kindness in the best possible way. We are at your mercy.
