A copy of this list will be carried by $10(TCC) when he accompanies repatriates to the point of repatriation. He will check repatriates against the list at the time of repatriation and confirm dopertura (with time, deto, signature and authenticating stamp) at the foot of the list on his return to the amigration Clearance Contre,

copy of the refusal notice to C10(GI) by the finst available despatch service.

Permission to Land

20.

When it has been decided that a person should be given permission to land, and he has endorsed the Immigration Interview Report et Part E to this effect, $10(TCC) will enter the subject's name, date of birth, sex, and TCC file reference in a Referred to Yuen Long" register and arrange for the immigrant to be transferred by Police vehicle to Yuen Long. The originel copy of the Immigration Interview Report, together with the completed arrival card, will be given to the driver or escort accompanying the Police transport for personal delivery to S10(YLCC).

SIO(YLCC) will refer the immigrant for Port Health clearance. When this has been obtained the Tamigrant will be given permission to land and instructed to report on e given date (usually within two weeks of leaving Yuen Long) to the Entry Permit Office with the nocassery photographe and fee for issue of the permit. $10(YLCC) will signify his ection at Part F of the amigration Interview Report, which he will send with the arrival card to the Entry Permit Office.

SIO(EPG) will issue the usual permit (1330 2603) on the appearance of the applicant and record his action at Part H of the Immigration Interview Report. He will similarly complete the appropriate section of Part # of the 1.D. if the subject does not call on the appointed date. In either case, S10(EPO) will forward the completed form 1.0. (attaching the arrival card) to C10(G1) for further action.

Where an entry permit has been issued by 910(EPO), CiO(GI) will ensure that a Chinese Residents Section file is opened, that form 1.0. is anclosed, and that the file is sent to C10(CS)R for retention in the Central Records Office.

Where an entry permit has not been issued (due to the non-attendance of the immigrant), CIO(GI) will open an orange Investigation Division file, enclose the form 1.D.

and pass the file to AP10(1) for a direction as to what further action should be taken.
