1. Lord Goronwy-Roberts has agreed to receive Mr John Roper MP at 10.00 am on 7 December. He will be accompanied by Colonel Montgomery of the Anti-Slavery Society for the Protection of Human Rights, 60 Weymouth Street, London SW1 who wishes to discuss the enforced return to mainland China of illegal immigrants in Hong Kong.
2. I understand that Colonel Montgomery and his organisation are well known to UND.
3. Would you please provide a background brief and speaking notes for Lord Goronwy-Roberts and someone to take a record.
