83 illegals from China were caught trying to enter Hong Kong during the month c.f. 85 last month. 83 illegals were

10,593 persons have been processed by the Immigration Department claiming to have successfully avaded the controls since repatriations to China commenced on 30th November, 1974. When compared with the number apprehended trying to enter this gives a ratio of 1:4.61.
