Mr Thin is single and a kitchen boy by occupation. His father is dead. His mother and an adoptive sister are residents of Hong Kong, but they are not dependant on Mr Thin.

Following a recommendation by the Director of Immigration that Mr Thin should be deported to Malaysia, a Deportation Tribunal was appointed under section 22 of the Immigration Ordinance to hold an inquiry. The Tribunal, in its report, which is annexed, has recommended that a deportation order should be made against Mr Thin.

Honourable Members will be asked to advise, under section 20(2)(a) of the Immigration Ordinance (Chapter 115) whether Mr THIN Moon-fatt alias TIN Woon-fat alias TIN Wun-fat alias TIN Mun-fatt alias TIN Moon-fat should be deported for life.
