Mr Roger Sims (Bromley, Chislehurst): To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what are the plans of the Hong Kong Government in terms of expenditure and expansion of the full-time student population for Hong Kong's three institutions of higher education; and how this figure for full-time student population will compare with today and with 10 years ago.

It is planned to increase total gross expenditure on the three institutes of higher education from
HK$ 301,712,000 in 1976/77 to HK$ 406,500,000 in 1980/81.
