We act for Nar Fong China Products Co. Ltd., owner of No.14, Hill Road, Ground Floor, Sai Wan, Hong Kong whose premises will be adversely affected by your proposed undertaking under the above Notice.
We are instructed to oppose to the Crder therein on the ground that the proposed construction of an elevated road along Hill Road will seriously harden our client's business as provision department store. Our client's present average business thereon is approximately $500,000:00 per month, if an elevated road is built in front of its shop premises, it is estimated that business will be reduced by at least 30°. If the proposed elevated road is fenced off and during construction whether it is fenced off or not on completion, business is estimated to be reduced to at least 50. By these estimations our client could no longer carry on his present business with any hope of profit.
In the premises we are instructed to request you to consider alterate routing for the proposed elevated road.
