(a) To obtain approval to the

layout proposals for future development.

(b) To decide which, if any, of

the existing buildings should be retained.

(c) To prepare a phased

development programme for the area.

(d) To complete planning before

April, 1978.

(e) To incorporate proposed land use in the Central District Outline Zoning Plan.

(i) To prepare future land use

proposals for the Army Camp for approval by L.D.F.C.

(ii) To incorporate the approved

uses into the draft Cheung

Sha Wan Outline Zoning Plan for submission to the Town Planning Board.

(a) Executive Council has approved

the proposed layout in principle but asked for a separate submis- sion regarding the future use of Flagstaff House.

(b) An inter-departmental group has

formulated proposals for the retention of certain of the buildings.

The proposals were approved by L.D.P.C. at its meeting on 29.10.76. The land will be used for public housing, Government institution and community facilities and open spaces development.
