(a) To establish a controlled tip
for solid waste at Sai Tso Wan, near Kwun Tong, to commence operation by April 1977.
(b) To establish a solid waste baling plant adjacent to the controlled tip at Sai Tso Wan by July 1978.
(c) To establish a controlled tip
for solid waste for the Eastern New Territories.
(d) To establish a controlled tip
for solid waste for the Western
(a) A Housing Department licenced area
occupies the site. Clearance of this is in hand, and is expected to be completed by June 1977. Site formation work is to be completed by April 1977.

above. Phased clearance is to make

(c) Due to impending closure of existing controlled tip at Shuen Wan near Tai Po, site for new tip must be made available for site formation by mid- 1977. A second site at Shuen Wan has been identified, and investigations are in hand.
