Next Quarter Targets
(a) Lyemun Barracks (Stage I)
Camp comprising some 133 acres was handed over on 6th January 1977;
(b) Investigations are being
conducted into the proposed release of the remaining parts of Lyemun Barracks (Stage II) and Shen Shui Po Camp (Stage III) not included in the Defence Costs Agree-- ment;
(a) Complete
surrender of Lyemun Barracks (Stage I) and allocation to
the Urban Council for a public park.
(b) Determine terms for further releases and decide whether
agreement should be made to
acquire addition- al military land.
