Congress also urges all trade unions to fully support the new Race Relations Act and in particular to assist black workers in taking cases to industrial tribunals under Section 54 of the Act.

Congress notes that a disturbing feature of the activities of the National Front Party and other racist organisations is to encourage racial sympathy in Britain for the racist regimes in Southern Africa.

Congress resolves to support the worldwide fight against racism and especially against the racist regimes of Southern Africa, in particular Congress supports the call made by the Anti-Apartheid Movement at its conference on November 6 1976 for an end to all forms of economic collaboration between Britain and the racist apartheid regimes and as an immediate step the imposition by the British Government of a ban on investment in South Africa.
