In addition to the foregoing, six training attachments were arranged for overseas officials to visit Hi Factory Inspectorate, Brooklands Technical College, the Department of Health and Social Security, and the Department of Employment for functional training in "on-the-job" situations. The Employment Adviser also provided a series of lectures on industrial relations and employment policies as part of the training programme of Institutions concerned with training labour administration officials, overseas personnel managers and trades unionists, i.e., The Industrial Society, the Royal Institute of Public Administration, The Department of Employment Overseas Division and London University.
