OLCC MEETING, 29 APRIL
ITEM 3: HONG KONG
-
1.
PROFESSOR TURNER'S INTERIM AND
PROVISIONAL REVIEW OF LABOUR RELATIONS
IN THE COLONY
Professor Turner has now reacted to the suggestion that the TUC might wish one of its representatives to be associated with the final phase of his study in Hong Kong. A copy of his telegram of 26 April is attached.
2.
Professor Turner's attitudes and arguments are additional reasons for resisting any such proposal by the TUC at Friday's meeting of the OLCC.
