HONG KONG: PQ ON LABOUR MATTERS: MR ROBERT PARRY MP

1. Mr Robert Parry MP (Labour Liverpool, Scotland Exchange Division) has put down nine Questions for Written Answer on 5 May concerning industrial aocidents in Hong Kong and Professor Turner's Study of Labour Relations in the Colony.

2. These questions bring the number of Questions he has asked on Hong Kong this year to 57 (out of a total of 97 Questions to the FCO on Hong Kong). His previous Questions covered such matters as Urban Council affairs, social affairs, the Mass Transit Railway, the possibility of a second airport in Hong Kong and New Territories matters. Mr Parry accompanied a delegation from the Heung Yee Kuk, the Rural Consultative Council in the New Territories, when they called on Lord Goronwy-Roberts on 26 April.
