Completion of subsidised public housing now at about 100,000 persons per year, to be 170,000 by 1978/79 and 224,000 by 1979/80 and to be maintained thereafter at over 200,000 per year till the back of the housing problem is broken. by about 1984;
Government subsidised home ownership scheme for lower income groups.
E Medical and Health Services
A new hospital for 1,200 beds comes into full service in 1976. Thereafter, three new large and one small hospital will provide 3,900 more beds by 1983/84, increasing bed ratio from 4.1 per thousand to 4.8. Programme also include a number of new specialist and general clinics.
