APPLICATION OF INTERNATIONAL LABOUR CONVENTIONS: UNEMPLOYMENT
CONVENTION 1919 (No 2)
1.
I have the honour to refer to the Government Secretariat's
letter (26) SS 2/3/5683/58 dated 28 September 1976 and to
inform you that a declaration was registered by the Director
General of the International Labour Organisation on 11 January
1977 stating that the Unemployment Convention 1919 (No 2) will
be applied to Hong Kong with the following modification:
Article 1: Information concerning unemployment will be
communicated to the International Labour Office at
intervals not exceeding six months.
2. The declaration previously registered in respect of this
Convention has been cancelled.
