INTERNATIONAL LABOUR CONVENTION NO.92: ACCOMMODATION OF CREWS (REVISED), 1949
1.
I have the honour to refer to the letter from the Social
Services Branch of the Government Secretariat, reference
(36) 33 92/3/5683/58 dated 20 January 1977 and to inform you that
a declaration was registered by the Director General of the
International Labour Office on 18 February 1977 stating that the
Accommodation of Crews (Revised) Convention will be applied to
Hong Kong with the following modifications:
Article 1(5)
Variations may be approved by the competent authority after
consultation with the shipowners or such organisation or organisations
as appear to him to be representative of owners of British Ships
and such organisation or organisations (if any) as appear to be
representative of seamen employed in British ships.
