Disciplinary Codes and Procedures

Regulations and procedures in respect of disciplinary matters are contained in Colonial Regulations, Disciplinary Froceedings (Colonial Regulations) Regulations, Establishment (Disciplinary) Regulations and the Civil Service Regulations. Together, these Regulations form a comprehensive disciplinary code designed to punish misconduct and to protect the individual. This code was drawn up in consultation with the main Staff Associations.
Public Utility Employees
13.
Only Waterworks' employees are public servants in Hong Kong; electricity and gas are provided by private companies. It is not expected therefore that public utility employees will create any special problems as far as the proposed Convention and Recommendations are concerned.
