Further to para. 3 of our Telno. 324 of 28th March 1977, you may wish to note that on 2nd April 1977 the Commissioner for Labour made the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Amendment) Regulations 1977 which increased from $5,000 to $10,000 the penalty for illegal employment of children in any industrial under- taking or dangerous trade.
These Regulations have also now been approved by H. E. the Governor for introduction into Legislative Council, where the Commissioner for Labour will move a resolution for their formal adoption on 4th May 1977.
