Dear Mr Ibrahim
MAS D10 SERVICES TO LONDON
In view of the verbal acceptance by the Malaysian High Commissioner, on behalf of the Malaysian Government, of the terms under which the UK Aeronautical Authorities are able to permit the introduction of your twice weekly DC 10 services to London and following the signing of the commercial agreement between yourselves and British Airways, I am enclosing an Operating Permit to allow the new services to commence with effect from 30 October 1977. Operating Permit CA2/MH/7(T) is hereby cancelled
from that date.
Confidentia
Steps are being taken to formalise the arrangements by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between our respective aeronautical authorities. This is unlikely to take place before early November, but will not, of course, inhibit your starting plans for the new service.
Your operating schedules for the Winter season 1977/78 covering the regional and trunk route services, as submitted in your letters dated 20 August and 3 September 1977 respectively, are hereby approved.
Yours sincerely
A D STEADMAN
