and has the honour to state that there would be
no objections to the visit of the German nuclear
ship "OTTO HAHN" on the following conditions :
(a
The operational orders contained in the attached document, together with the arrangements laid down in the Hong Kong NUSAFE orders, will be followed in all particulars.
(b) the terms of the exchange of Notes
between H B M Embassy, Bonn and the
Federal German Foreign Ministry in
October 1976 would apply to the visit
of the "OTTO HAHN" to Hong Kong, in
case of any claims arising from the
visit;
(c)
G KSS would guarantee to repay the
Hong Kong Government for any expenses
which might be incurred if, in the event
of an accident, it were necessary for
a monitoring team to fly out to Hong
Kong from the U K; and
