CLEARED FROM CROWN LAND FOR THE MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY.
(V) IN ALL CASES EVERY EFFORT IS MADE TO SETTLE COMPENSATION, OR ADVANCES OF COMPENSATION, BEFORE REMOVAL. MEETINGS BETWEEN
THOSE AFFECTED AND STAFF OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, THE HOUSING
DEPARTMENT AND/OR THE HOME AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT (CITY DISTRICT OFFICE
ARE HELD ON A COLLECTIVE AND INDIVIDUAL BASIS TO ENSURE THAT THE
PROVISIONS OF THE ORDINANCE, THE PROCEDURES FOR MAKING CLAIMS AND THE DETAILS OF INDIVIDUUAL OFFERS OF COMPENSATION AND REHOUSING,
