The effect of the higher demand pattern on CLP's plant requirements has been to bring forward their expansion of capacity approximately one year. They consequently propose to commission:
(a) the planned 100 mw gas turbine in 1980 instead of
in 1981;
an additional 200 mw of gas turbine capacity in 1981;
(b)
(c)
the 1st and 2nd 350 raw sets in 1982 and 1983 as originally planned; and
(d)
the 3rd and 4th 350 mw sets one year early, in 1984 and 1986 respectively, provided demand develops as forecast.
The revised expansion programme is set out below (c. f. paragraph 8 of Annex A to XCC(77)86).
