consumers' financing through the Development Fund reaches a significant level (referred in paragraph 36 of Annex A).
Honourable Members will be asked to advise whether
the draft Scheme of Control for CLP (Annex B) is acceptable to the Government subject to:
(a)
(b)
ratification of the Scheme by the Board of Directors of the China Light and Power Company Limited; and
the advice of the Legal Department on the precise wording of the Scheme.
