I enclose copies of both the Additional Distribution and the Files list for your retention.
2. On outward drafts it is sufficient for you to write Files etc under "Distribution" and Hong Kong Power Station Froject under "Copies to". We will do the rest. We like to keep separate the two parts of the distribution, internal and external. By this means we can change the internal distribution from Files to Departmental or even to FCO as the substance of the telegram requires.

1. Many thanks. I am quite content with the arrangements you are making and so too, I think, will be the DOI. I fear that we may have to add names to the Additional Distribution from time to time. The DOI have already asked that Mr Lane, HM Treasury, should be included in the
distribution and I should be grateful if you would add his
name.
