difficult to fim a rationale for inviting them to either of the receptions at Buckingham Palace during Silver Jubilce week and that the lunch at the Guildhall on Tuesday 8 June would also be a non-starter. I hope, however, that it may be possible to have the visitors invited to the GLC buffet supper before the River Pageant and Fireworks Display on Thursday evening, 9 June. Another possibility would be to have their names added to the list that has been given to the King George V Jubilee Trust for their lunch for visitors from overseas.
4. I should be grateful to know whether you are prepared to feed in Mr Kadoorie's and Mr Stones' names to the GLC and the King George V Jubilee Trust. Flease let me know if you need any more amunition/information.
