I hereby confirm the receipt of the following
"Please refer to the Agreement between the European Economic Community and Hong Kong on trade in textile producta initialled between the two parties on 3 Dagenbor 1977.
Hong Kong hereby notifies the Community that during the currency of the Agreement, it will not invoke the provisions
of the Geneva Arrangement as they concern handloom fabrics of
the cottage industry or hand-made cottage industry products made of such handloom fabrica, or traditional folklore handicraft
textile products, as provided for in Article 12 (3) of the said
Arrangement, without the agreement of the Community.
