Mr Frank Hooley, Labour MP for Sheffield (Heeley) has put
down the following Written Question to the Secretary of
State for Trade for answer on Monday 9 May:-
"Whether Hong Kong will be separately represented at
the next round of talks within GATT on the Multifibre
Agreement, or whether the Hong Kong delegation will sit
as part of the UK delegation".
We propose the following Answer:-
"According to the usual practice, a member of the
UK delegation in Geneva will represent Hong Kong at
these talks".
