Lord Goronwy-Roberts has seen your submission of 4 May and agrees that he need take no further action with regard to Crown Agents' purchases of South African stocks on behalf of Dependent Territorios. He also agrees that a lotter should be sent at official level to the Crown Agents seeking confirmation of their agreement to consult the FCC if and when the question should arise of their investing in South African stocks in future on behalf of Dependent Territories.
