The Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain mud Northern Ireland shall, until the Government of the bbate of Brunei can make alternative arrangements, and in guch manner as shall in no way affect the.sole responsibility of the Government of the State of Brunei for the external relations of the State, give sympathetic consideration to ang specific request by the Government of the State of Brunoi for diplomatic or consular assistance in the conduct of those relations and in particular the Government of the United Kingdom will, in appropriate cases, if the Government of the State of Brunei so request:.
