THE "CROWN COLONY OF" HONG KONG
1. I have noticed several times recently, particularly in letters from the Political Adviser's office in Hong Kong, reference to the fact that Hong Kong is not "a Crown colony". Indeed, Mr Drace-Francis has occasionally claimed that "there is no such thing as a Crown colony". I thought there was. I would be grateful for your views.
