It seems very likely that in due course we will need copies of the final version of the reply sent to the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Heung Yee Kuk. We have one of the drafts, which was enclosed with the Governor's letter of 17 June to John Stewart, but, as you will know from our telno 504 of 4 July, we asked that a few changes be made. No doubt you will be typing the whole thing up again. Perhaps, when you do, you could send me a copy.
