HONG KONG: THE TIMING OF THE GOVERNOR'S NEXT VISIT

Lord Goronwy-Roberts has seen Mr Stewart's submission of 10 March and agrees that we should accept the Governor's proposal that his next visit should take place in November. He has commented further that his agreement to this is not meant to alter the two visits a year practice which should remain basic.
