Press the Governor for his views on tax reforms to
provide, in an equitable way, sufficient money to fund
further reforms;
f) Impress on the Governor our need for early knowledge of the 1978 Budget proposals;
g) Ask the Governor for a new timetable for the
introduction of the recently proposed sickness, injury
and death benefit schemes;
h) Express his regret that, while the advances which would be achieved by the introduction of this benefit are welcome, the proposal was not more far reaching.
