The Embassy of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics presents its compliments to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of Great Britain and has the honour to state that the Soviet research expeditionary vessel "Dmitriy Mendeleev" intends to enter the port Hong Kong during the period from 1-2 July 1976 for a period of two days to take on water, foodstuffs, ship's stores and fuel and for crew recreation.
The precise time and date of entry of the véssel into the port of Hong Kong 'will be communicated to the port authorities in due course by the Captain of the vessel.
The "Dmitriy Mendeleev" has the following dimensions:
