c) No. 90 Night Work of Young Persons (Industry) (Revised)
A further modification will be removed from this Convention when the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance is amended to include
airports within the definition of an
industrial undertaking". The amending Bill will be enacted before the end of 1977.
d) No. 101- Holidays with Pay (Agriculture)
Agricultural workers will be covered by the provisions of the Employment (Amendment) (No 3) Bill 1977 (giving a right to paid annual leave). The Bill was approved by Executive Council on 26 April 1977 and will be introduced into Legislative Council on 1 June.
I can assure you that we will do our best to ensure that the necessary legislation will be enacted in sufficient time to enable the four additional improved declarations in para. 5 to be
made by the end of 1977, as well as Convention 94, but I have some doubts about (b) and am not yet absolutely certain of (a)
